This Cookie Policy explains how BetterSuite (Lume Agency Inc.) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These are required for the site and your account to work — for example, keeping you signed in to the operator dashboard and remembering where you are in sign-up. They include our authentication and session cookies. If you start a chat with us on our websites, we also keep a key for that conversation in your browser's local storage, so the conversation stays open as you move between pages and when you come back; it is not set unless you send a message. The Service cannot function properly without them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our websites so we can improve them. These cookies collect information such as pages visited, referring links, and approximate location.
Marketing and advertising measurement. We record how you reached our site so we can understand which campaigns lead to sign-ups. This covers the campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term values an advertisement or newsletter adds to a web address), advertising click identifiers such as a Google "gclid", the page you landed on, and the site that referred you. We keep both your first and your most recent such visit for up to 90 days, and store them against your account if you go on to sign up. If you start a chat with us, we attach them to that conversation only where you have consented to analytics and marketing cookies, or where consent is not required in your region. We also use Google Ads conversion measurement.
Functional and diagnostics. We use Sentry to detect and diagnose errors. This may include session-diagnostic data, with text content masked, to help us reproduce and fix problems.

3. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear stored data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
- Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across sites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google advertising. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google Ads Settings.
We are working to add an on-site cookie preference control. Until then, please use the browser and provider controls above to manage analytics and marketing cookies.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our websites and tools change. The "Effective date" above shows when it last changed.
