Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account in the BetterSuite apps published by Lume Agency, including BetterParking, BetterTaxi, BetterShop and BetterService, and in the apps a business runs on BetterSuite under its own name. It also explains what is deleted and what is kept.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open Profile info or Settings, depending on the app, and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, or you no longer have the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account". Tell us:

  • which app you use, and the business you use it with
  • the phone number or email address on the account

We may ask you to confirm the request from that phone number or email address before we act on it. We complete requests within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

When you delete your account in the app, these are deleted straight away:

  • Your profile: your name, phone number and email address
  • Your sign-in details and active sessions
  • The devices registered to receive notifications for your account

Your saved places, saved payment cards and past notifications are deleted when you ask us at [email protected], within 30 days of your request.

What may be kept, and for how long

Records of bookings, rides, orders, payments and payouts may be kept where we, or the business you used the app with, must keep them for tax, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. They are kept only as long as those rules require, then deleted or anonymised. Reviews you wrote may stay visible without your name.

If you run a business on BetterSuite

An administrator's account is deleted 30 days after the request, and the request can be cancelled in that time. The owner of a workspace cannot delete their own account in the app: contact us at [email protected] to transfer ownership or close the workspace.
