Yes. Many tenants start on Cloud SaaS to validate, then move to Self-Hosted or a Source license once their volume, compliance, or customization needs grow. We help plan the transition: a data-export path is supported on every Cloud plan, and your tenant configuration (branding, regional settings, integrations) carries over to a self-hosted deployment.

Order processing is not cut off mid-month. You'll get email alerts at 50%, 90%, and 100% of your plan's monthly limit. We'll work with you to upgrade to the next tier or add capacity. There are no surprise per-order overage fees — we'd rather move you to the right plan.

No. Every BetterSuite plan — Cloud, Self-Hosted, and Self-Hosted+ — has 0% transaction fees. You pay only the subscription or license. Payment processor fees (Stripe, MercadoPago, PayPal) flow directly between you and the processor.

Plans cover the platform itself. A handful of optional things sit outside the price card and are billed as add-ons or pass-throughs:

  • Extra locations or verticalsbeyond your plan's included count — quoted per request.
  • App store publishing— Apple Developer ($99/yr) and Google Play ($25 one-time) are paid by you to the platforms. We offer a publishing-assistance add-on from $1,499 per app if you'd rather hand it off.
  • White-glove onboarding and architecture consultation — engineer-led launch programs, quoted by scope.
  • Premium support upgrade — priority SLAs and a named technical contact, from $999/mo.
  • Update renewals for Self-Hosted licenses after the included update window expires (per-tier annual price shown on the plan card).

Available on every Cloud plan. Sign up, complete onboarding (branding, regional settings, payment provider). You can configure and test the full platform during the trial, then start taking real orders when you're ready. Cancel anytime — no questions.

Stripe (with Stripe Connect for marketplace payouts), MercadoPago, and PayPal are integrated out of the box. Multi-currency is built in — set per tenant, per location, or per booking. We add additional regional processors via our PSP plugin system; if your market needs one we don't have yet, talk to us.

Yes. On Cloud Pro and above, you get your own branded mobile apps. App store publishing fees (Apple Developer $99/yr, Google Play $25 one-time) are paid by you to the platforms. We offer a publishing assistance add-on if you'd rather we handle the submission. On Cloud Starter, your customers can join via our shared mobile apps using a tenant join code.

Plan limits cap how many verticals and locations you can run concurrently. Starter is 1 vertical and 1 city; Pro is up to 2 of each; Enterprise unlocks all verticals and up to 5 cities (more on request). Self-Hosted and Source licenses include either a single vertical or all four — pick the SKU that matches.

After purchase, you receive every BetterSuite release — major versions, minor versions, and security patches — for the included update window (1 year on Single & Multi, 2 years on Enterprise). After that, an annual renewal keeps you on the latest builds. You're not locked out if you don't renew; your version keeps running, you just stop receiving updates.

Source licenses include the full Rust source for the platform plus our architecture documentation. You can fork and modify any service: dispatch logic, payment integrations, custom verticals, internal tooling. You retain rights to your modifications. Self-Hosted gives you the compiled binary — same runtime, but no source-level customization.

No, renewals are optional. The renewal price for each license is shown on the plan card (e.g. $999/yr on Single Vertical). Renewing keeps you on the latest releases and extends priority support. The platform you've already deployed continues to work indefinitely without renewal — but you'd be stuck on the version you have.

Cloud SaaS runs on managed infrastructure with regional options on request. Self-Hosted and Source deployments run wherever your infrastructure runs — your data never leaves your environment. Audit logs, RBAC (41 permissions), encryption at rest, and PCI-scoped payment handling (via PSPs) are built in. SOC 2 and GDPR posture documentation is available on request.

Annual billing on Cloud plans receives a discount applied at checkout. Early-stage startups (pre-Series A) and registered non-profits qualify for a discount on Cloud Pro and above — contact us with your status before signing up.

Self-Hosted and Source licenses include a 30-day evaluation period. If the platform doesn't fit your use case after a good-faith evaluation, we'll refund the license fee minus any consulting time delivered. After 30 days, licenses are non-refundable, but you keep what you've paid for: the binary or source remains yours to run.
