The core flow
A customer browses services, picks a time, and books a provider. The provider confirms or rejects. If accepted, the appointment runs to completion with status updates on both sides. Payment settles automatically. Disputes route to operations.
Around that core, the product handles the realities of service businesses — buffer time, travel time, multi-tech jobs, recurring appointments, and last-minute cancellations.
Single-provider and marketplace modes
BetterService works for a single-brand provider (one company with W2 technicians) and for marketplace operators (many independent providers competing for jobs). The configuration choice changes how matching and payouts work, not which product you run.
What you get
Out of the box, a BetterService tenancy includes:
- Customer booking apps and web flow
- Provider app with calendar, route, and job management
- Marketplace matching rules with provider rating and proximity
- Recurring booking primitives and rescheduling tools
- Operator console with live job board and dispute handling
